Privacy Policy

Trump Accounts is a U.S. Department of the Treasury program. The National Design Studio designed and manages the public website at trumpaccounts.gov. This Privacy Policy explains how the informational site and the external services it links to handle information.

1. Information We Collect

trumpaccounts.gov has no email signup, application form, user account, database, or email sender. Cloudflare processes request and network metadata to host and deliver the site.

When you visit /download, the application reads your browser's user-agent information to choose an Apple App Store or Google Play destination. It does not persist that information.

Provider Data

Cloudflare may process operational request data to deliver and protect the site.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The application does not collect, store, or process:

  • Your name, email address, mailing address, or phone number
  • Your child’s name, date of birth, or Social Security number
  • Your or your child’s Social Security number, Taxpayer Identification Number, or other government IDs
  • Financial account numbers, routing numbers, or payment information
  • Tax return information or income data
  • Health, medical, or educational records
  • Precise device geolocation (GPS) data

Form 4547 redirects to form.trumpaccounts.gov and an external government flow. Any information you provide there is handled under that destination's notices, not this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Request metadata: Cloudflare uses it to host, deliver, and protect the site.
  • User agent at /download: To select an app-store destination without persisting the value.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The application does not write cookies, local storage, or session storage. Provider-side storage may include:

  • Operational cookies: Cloudflare may set cookies when enabled edge features require them.

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate trumpaccounts.gov:

Cloudflare

Hosts and delivers the site and processes request and network metadata. Site fonts are self-hosted at runtime.

External destinations

The site links to the program and support sites, form.trumpaccounts.gov, Treasury, the White House, publishers, YouTube, Apple's App Store, Google Play, and ndstudio.gov. Current videos are links to outside pages rather than embedded players. Each destination applies its own privacy practices.

6. Data Security

The current site is a static informational service with these concrete boundaries:

  • HTTPS/TLS protects traffic to and from the site
  • No hosted form, user account, database, storage binding, or email sender
  • No application-authored cookies, local storage, or session storage

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can:

  • Use the site without submitting a form: Browsing, the calculator, and all informational content work without a hosted form or account.
  • Choose external services separately: You decide whether to follow links to Form 4547, an app store, a publisher, YouTube, or another outside destination.
  • Clear provider data: Clear cookies and site storage in your browser at any time.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
